Scratches and punctures of the glaze can be caused by e.g., sharp steak knives. We therefore recommend to use quality cutlery in 18/10 steel to avoid such scratches. After a meal, it is recommended to rinse the porcelain with water. Some foods contain strong acids that can cause discolouration of the glaze. Lemon and a little water can help remove such marks.
The elf symbolizes dreams, hope and the belief in making the impossible possible. This candle holder is decorated with the little elf carefully balancing on the mysterious branches that adorn the white porcelain.
