Scratches and punctures of the glaze can be caused by e.g., sharp steak knives. We therefore recommend to use quality cutlery in 18/10 steel to avoid such scratches. After a meal, it is recommended to rinse the porcelain with water. Some foods contain strong acids that can cause discolouration of the glaze. Lemon and a little water can help remove such marks.
The Julemorgen red wine glass is distinctly feminine; from the lush bell, to the slender stem that ends in a frozen drop. The frosted decor is easily recognizable from the tableware series of the same name, but is designed with the aim of being able to fit equally well with all the tableware in Wik & Walsøe’s universe.
