Scratches and punctures of the glaze can be caused by e.g., sharp steak knives. We therefore recommend to use quality cutlery in 18/10 steel to avoid such scratches. After a meal, it is recommended to rinse the porcelain with water. Some foods contain strong acids that can cause discolouration of the glaze. Lemon and a little water can help remove such marks.
The 36 cm oval plate from the tableware Whitewood has a timeless and discreet design in classic white. Fill it with your best dishes or dandare it minimalistic and elegant. If you are not going to serve food, this is just as nicely decorated with candlelight, whether it is a quiet summer evening or a blustery winter morning. The texture is inspired by Norwegian craftsmanship, with simple reliefs that form a soft form of minimalism along the tableware’s edge, and the contours of wild twigs that spread over the surface of the dish.
With its subdued expression, Whitewood can be combined with other tableware such as Alv, Alveskog and Woodstokk, which all have the same design language.
